Lay Your Concrete Floor Coatings Before Winter Arrives

Posted

Winter is on its way, and for most of the country colder weather is only a few weeks away. If you've been thinking about finishing your floor using our concrete floor coatings, you'll want to place your order soon. Our coatings can stand up to the harshest winter conditions once they've been applied, but the application process needs to happen in a dry, room temperature room. Once winter arrives, you may have a harder time keeping your concrete floor warm enough for the application.

Of course, if your concrete floor is in indoors in a temperature controlled environment, you can apply our concrete floor coatings pretty much any time of the year. If you are applying them in a garage or other unprotected space, you'll need to act fast. Most areas of the country still have warm enough weather in October and early November so handle concrete floor coating applications, but time is limited. If you run out of warm weather and don't want to wait until spring, consider renting or borrow a space heater to keep the room warm.

Remember, once your concrete floor coatings are down, they can hold up to almost anything that comes their way. Cold weather, hot weather, and even moisture is no match for our concrete floor coatings once they've set. The application process is the only time you'll need to be careful. Give us a call if you need tips to make sure your application process goes smoothly and you get the best finished concrete floors possible!
